The vineyards of Collio surround Borgo Gradis’ciutta, a complex of buildings dating back to the 1500s now transformed into a facility ready to welcome those who wish to spend a stay in one of Italy’s most important wine-growing areas, experiencing experiences related to the world of wine and savoring the slow rhythms of the countryside and nature.
Robert Princic’s Gradis’ciutta winery provides its guests with 9 rooms and 3 apartments, furnished trying to maintain the atmosphere that was breathed in this historic place and at the same time offering all the comforts to spend a relaxing vacation among vineyards, scents, flavors and the characteristic hospitality of the family.
Named after trees in the area, the rooms overlook the surrounding hills and are all very spacious and equipped with private bathroom with complimentary toiletries and hairdryer, soundproofing, independent heating and air conditioning, wardrobe-robe, mini-bar, TV and wi-fi connection, and telephone.
The apartments also have a self-contained, fully equipped kitchen.
Breakfast made with local products is served each morning in a large room or, in warm weather, outside in the garden under the shade of a centuries-old linden tree.
The current headquarter of Gradis’ciutta is in Giasbana, a village in San Floriano del Collio, where it was built a winery which represents the culmination of many years of work.

The stay of children up to the age of three is free of charge. A crib for children up to three years old can be added free of charge upon request. Some rooms are equipped with an additional single bed.

Tours of the winery and vineyard, tastings, wine experiences and tailor-made activities are organized for Borgo Gradis’ciutta guests. The Gradis’ciutta winery, which obtained organic certification in 2018, now has 25 hectares planted with vines and grows native varieties and international vines, vinified in purity or blended to create great blends.

The property is located in the heart of the Collio wine-growing area, but also a five-minute drive from the city of Gorizia, European Capital of Culture in 2025 along with Nova Gorica, and a few kilometers from Cividale del Friuli and Aquileia, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
